I got a new battery for my bmw x3 and now my clock keeps resetting when i turn off, what is wrong?
why does my clock lose the time when shut off?
Answer:
double check your connection at the terminal make sure nothing is loose and free of debri. also if you have an after market stereo make sure your ground is properly secure and check the constant 12v wire not the 12v wire wen keys is at acc. cud be you fried that wire and thats y your stereo is not keeping the memory for example time, radio settings, ect. if you have a stock stereo check your fuses and get schematic to fig out which wire is your constant. ( sumtimes after market stereos, the constant 12v wire has a fuse attached to it, check fuse.) to check if wire is fried get a voltmeter and check continuity)
