I dont know what these other guys are talking about but short ram actually adds power but very little. It takes the restriction off the air flow so the air flows freely through your intake manifold. In basic terms, The cold intake system will give you that little bit of Umff your car needs at high RPMs. So rather than redline at lets say 8k Rpms and do 60mph you will now do 8kRpms and do 65mph do to the car breathing better. ....In short, its more show and tell than anything. You get more power gains if you work the exhaust system. In your case though, a $50 drop in K&N is the way to go.
